Kalman vs Ours Privacy
Ours Privacy is a healthcare customer data platform: a privacy-first place to route marketing data to many tools. Kalman is narrower on purpose. It's built to get DTC telehealth brands a clean, valuable Meta signal from the patients who get approved and refill, and to show what each of those patients costs.

What Kalman actually does
Kalman is a signal layer for direct-to-consumer telehealth brands that buy patients on Meta. It does three jobs, and it does them for the funnel telehealth brands actually run: an ad, a landing page, an intake, a checkout, a provider decision and then refills.
1. It tells Meta who actually became a patient
A browser pixel sees page views and form fills. It never sees what happens after checkout, because that happens on the telehealth platform: the provider approves the patient, the pharmacy ships, the refill bills next month. Kalman takes those outcomes straight from the platform (Sylaris OS natively today; Bask Health, Telegra and MDI through a webhook) and from Stripe, and sends them to Meta server-side through the Conversions API: purchases, refills as repeat purchases, and approvals when your consent setup allows it.
Each conversion carries a value you choose: the order value, a projected lifetime value per program, or the average lifetime value Kalman calculates from your real refills. Meta's value optimization then learns to find patients who stay, not just people who fill in a form.
2. It keeps health details out of what Meta receives
Every outbound event is built from an allowlist: the event name, the time, the value, hashed identifiers (email, phone, your patient ID), Meta's click and browser IDs, and your site's root address. Page paths that name a condition or a medication, product names and anything typed into a form never leave. Custom event names are checked against a list of condition and medication terms before they're allowed.
You don't have to take that on trust. Kalman keeps a log of every event it sent, and you can preview any event before a destination goes live. Every customer gets a BAA before any data flows.
3. It shows you what a patient really costs
Kalman's own analytics run inside Kalman, on your first-party data, so you don't need a third-party analytics tag on health pages to see the funnel: traffic by source, step-by-step intake drop-off, and acquisition with your Meta spend imported, so you see cost per purchase and per approved patient by campaign. That's the number a growth lead actually manages to.
Built around the telehealth stack
- First-party by default. The tag runs on your own subdomain, keeps ad click IDs in a first-party cookie and carries them to your intake, so the approved patient is tied back to the ad that brought them.
- A free scan before you talk to anyone. The scanner shows what each tracker on your site sends today, page by page, and what to fix first.
- Published prices. Signal is $499 a month and Signal + Attribution is $999. Agencies pay a $0 platform fee and then per brand.
- Built by an operator. Kalman's founder built NimbusRX and scaled Sylaris OS, so the product is designed around how telehealth funnels and their webhooks really behave.
What Ours Privacy offers
Ours Privacy describes itself as a customer data platform for healthcare marketing teams. Its pages list a website script, a server API and webhook sources; destinations including Meta (server-side through the Conversions API, with options to redact or hash fields), several Google Ads destinations, TikTok, CRMs and EHRs; plus a tag manager, consent manager, analytics, session replay and A/B testing.
It has four plans priced by monthly tracked users, integrations and support, available through a demo. It offers a BAA, with a custom BAA above the entry plan, and a web scanner on every plan.
Where Kalman and Ours Privacy really differ
A data router vs a telehealth signal
Ours Privacy is built to move events you define to many tools, with privacy controls along the way. Kalman starts from the telehealth business model: it knows what an approval, a refill and a cancellation are, maps them to the right Meta events, and attaches a value. You don't design the event model; it comes with the product.
Lifetime value, not just events
Telehealth economics are subscription economics. Kalman values each conversion with a projected lifetime value per program and updates it from your real refills, so Meta's value optimization learns which patients are worth more. We couldn't find conversion valuation or LTV described on Ours Privacy's public pages.
Telehealth platforms
Kalman connects natively to Sylaris OS, and to Bask Health, Telegra and MDI through a webhook, plus Stripe. Ours Privacy's integrations page lists Stripe, Healthie, GoHighLevel, HubSpot and Salesforce, but not the DTC telehealth platforms.
Cost per approved patient
Kalman's acquisition view imports your Meta spend and shows cost per purchase and per approved patient by campaign, inside Kalman. That's the metric a telehealth growth team runs on, and it doesn't need a third-party analytics tag on your health pages.
Pricing and buying
Kalman publishes its prices and offers an agency plan with a $0 platform fee and per-brand pricing. Ours Privacy's pricing depends on monthly tracked users and is quoted through a demo.
Which one fits your business?
Choose Kalman if you:
- run a DTC telehealth brand or the agency behind one, and Meta is your main channel;
- want Meta optimizing on approved patients and refills with lifetime value;
- run on Sylaris OS, Bask Health, Telegra, MDI or Stripe;
- want published pricing and to see cost per approved patient by campaign.
Ours Privacy may be the better fit if you:
- need many destinations today (Google Ads, TikTok, CRMs, EHRs) from one privacy-first hub;
- want a tag manager, consent banner, session replay or A/B testing from the same vendor;
- are a hospital or multi-location provider group with many sites and teams.
FAQ
Is Kalman an Ours Privacy alternative?
For DTC telehealth brands focused on Meta, yes: Kalman covers the Meta signal end to end with a telehealth event model and lifetime value. If you route data to many other tools through Ours Privacy, Kalman doesn't replace all of those destinations today.
How is Ours Privacy priced?
Its public pricing page describes four plans priced by monthly tracked users, integrations and support, through a demo. Kalman's prices are published.
Can I use Kalman and Ours Privacy together?
Yes. Kalman can own the Meta signal from your telehealth platform while another tool handles other destinations. Make sure only one of them sends conversions to Meta, so events aren't counted twice.
Does Kalman do Google Ads?
Google Ads conversions are in beta, planned for Q1 2027. Meta is live today.
Do I get a BAA?
Yes. Every Kalman customer signs a BAA before any data flows, on every plan.
The bottom line
Ours Privacy is a broad, privacy-first data hub for healthcare marketing teams. Kalman is the focused choice for DTC telehealth on Meta: a ready-made event model built on approvals and refills, lifetime value on every conversion, cost per approved patient, and published prices.
